Curriculum Welcome

Welcome Families,

Thank you for visiting the Chandler Curriculum pages. I started my education career in 1997 as an elementary classroom teacher in Los Angeles. I have worked in all grades, K-5, but the bulk of my experience is as a first and second-grade teacher and reading interventionist. I feel very fortunate to have landed in Duxbury to be part of such a dedicated staff and community. As you explore the provided links you will gain insight into your child's academic day, the topics they are learning, and how they work toward meeting grade-level state standards using high-quality instructional materials and routines. Please reach out with any questions.

Thank you ~ Sara Milner

The grade-level curriculum is centered around the Massachusetts State Curriculum Frameworks. For more information on grade-level standards, expectations, our curricular programs, teaching practices, report cards, assessments, and interventions, use the tabs below.

Summer Learning

This summer, students will have access to Clever until August 10. Students can use their Clever badge or school email to log into the Clever app or website. Students may have additional access to classroom apps through Clever based on what their teachers have shared. There is school-wide access to iReady Math and Reading for digital practice in all grades.

We also have our Summer Learning Boards with ideas to keep learning fresh all summer. Menu boards include links to online and unplugged activities, games, reading logs, summer bingo boards, summer reading programs through the Duxbury Public Library, Rockland Trust, Reading Rockets, and more!
