Using A Chromebook

An Overview

Chromebooks are fairly simple. When you open the lid of a Chromebook, it automatically powers on (assuming the battery is charged). It only takes a few seconds to boot and you'll be at the login window. Users will sign-in with their school-issued Google Account credentials.

Centrally Managed

The Chromebooks issued by the Duxbury Public Schools are managed by the technology department. Only approved applications are allowed to be downloaded and installed via the Play Store or Chrome Web Store. In addition, Internet content filtering is also installed on the Chromebook.
