Login Information:

  • Click the Log in button above.

  • Select Sign in with Google.

  • If you are already logged into your DPS Google account, you will pass right into the platform. If you are not logged into your DPS Google account, you will be prompted to log in.

Overview:

Securly Classroom is a digital management tool for teachers. The software syncs with Google Classroom and Schoology to keep students focused during lessons. Core features include:

  • View all student screens at once or zoom in on a single student.

  • Site Locking: Restrict students to specific educational websites or block distracting pages during tests.

  • URL Pushing: Send web links straight to student browser tabs instantly.

  • Screen Freezing: Lock student screens and display custom messages or timers.

  • Direct Messaging: Chat privately with individual students who need help or redirection. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Spotlight on Teaching & Learning:

  • If you can't see a student in Securly Classroom, have them log out of their Chromebook completely, then stand and watch as they log back into Securly Classroom. They can quickly switch screens to avoid getting pulled into Securly Classroom.
