The Duxbury Music Department is planning a trip for DHS curricular performance ensemble students during the 26-27 school year to Disney World and Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.

Here is some information from the Duxbury Music Promoters.

The Music Promoters are working hard to help families get the word out on the Disney Trip and invite students into conversations that help support their fundraising efforts.

1) Students are encouraged to use Gold Athletics as a way to target donations for each student's Disney trip. Fundraisers receive 40% on any item they sell. There is a fee to Gold Athletics of 20% for monetary donations. Prizes will not be offered to students because they would just decrease the funding that could be used towards their Disney trips.

2) Checks and Cash: Students who receive cash/check donations will be filtered through the Duxbury Music Promoters to eliminate the expense to Gold Athletics.  Please have all checks made out to Duxbury Music Promoters and put the student's name in the memo line.

3) Zoom Information Session:  The Duxbury Music Promoters held an online information session about the Gold Athletics fundraiser on Monday, April 13th, at 7:00 pm.  Here is a link to the Zoom recording, which families can look to for more information.

4) There will be a fundraising Table in front of Brothers Marketplace in Halls Corner, Duxbury: Students can go to Brothers Marketplace on Saturday, May 2nd, and DMP will have a table out for Disney Trip donations. We will track all volunteers and divide any cash donations among the students who attend.  The final time (hours) of this event is still TBD. Please look at the Music Promoters Website for information
