In order to graduate from Duxbury High School, students must also meet the criteria outlined in School Committee Policy IKFE Competency Determination.
Competency Determination
The successful passing of MCAS no longer serves as the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ requirement for graduation. As a result, individual districts were required to create Competency Determinations under 603 CMR 30: Standards for Competency Determination and Local Graduation Requirements. As of November 5, 2025, Duxbury Public Schools’ Competency Determination can be found in School Committee Policy IKFE: Competency Determination.
