Strategic Planning 2018-2019
The Duxbury Public School District is currently in the process of creating a new Strategic Plan that will identify and outline the goals and priorities for the School District for the next 3-5 years. Leading this process is Mr. Timothy Farmer, retired Superintendent of Schools from Sharon Public Schools. Mr. Farmer served as the Interim Assistant Superintendent for the Duxbury Schools during the 2017-2018 school year and is now serving the District as a consultant.
There is a Strategic Planning team which consists of school administrators, teachers, parents, students, Duxbury community members, and other members representing a variety of groups from the schools and community.
A survey will be distributed to district personnel and community members over the next few weeks, and several community forums are planned where members of the community will be invited to come together and share their thoughts and ideas for the future of Duxbury Schools.
