• Cheerleading

    --Season: Fall and Winter Sports Seasons, start in August for Fall, late November for Spring
     
    --Time Commitment: 12 hour weekly for practice, 2-5 hours for each game event, competitions. For this activity, average weekly hours for the sport would be 20 hours.
     
    --Days required: Weekday practices and winter games, Weekend practice and game events 8 to 10 weekend  competitions
     
    --Events: Home and Away Football games, 1-3 Winter sports games per week, Home Basketball games, Travel and performance for postseason tournament games
     

    Cross Country-Women and Men

    --Season: Fall Sports Season, August through early November, late November for postseason competitions

    --Time Commitment: 2 hours per day practice, competition time and travel for away meets
     
    --Days required: 6 days per week

    --Events: 10 regular season meets on the South Shore, possible state competitions involve more travel time.
     
    Women's Field Hockey

    --Season: Fall Sports Season, August through late October/early November

    --Time Commitment: Between 2 and 2.5 hours per day

    --Days required: Varsity 6 days, 5 days for Junior Varsity and Freshman teams

    --Events: 2 or 3 games per week, most games on route 3 corridor Quincy-Plymouth
    Games are usually played on weekdays at 4pm, with a couple of Saturday games Wrentham during November.

    Men's Football/Varsity

    --Season: Fall Sports Season, August through late October regular season, Thanksgiving

    --Time Commitment: 20 hours weekly for practice, conditioning, film study, games, travel involved

    --Days required: 6 days per week, Weekday and weekend practices, Friday night games.

    --Events: One Game per week, 15 games total, 7 Away, Holliston was longest travel 2015,
    plus Thanksgiving game

    Men's Football/Junior Varsity and Freshman

    Generally 15 hours per week weekday and weekend for practice, conditioning and games. Some travel

    Men's Golf

    --Season: Fall Sports Season, August through mid October regular season, post season --Time Commitment: 17 hours weekly includes 3 matches and a 3 hour practice, 4 hours per home match, 5-6 hours for an away match

    --Days required: Generally 5 weekdays, end of season qualifiers and state competitions can be all day with some weekend practice time.

    --Events: Between 20 and 22 matches over a 12 week season, plus post season competition.  Travel matches include Sandwich, Dedham, Lakeville

    Men's Soccer-all Teams

    --Season: Fall Sports Season, August through late October/early November

    --Time Commitment: 2 to 2.5 hours per day

    --Days required: Varsity 6 days, 5 days for Junior Varsity and Freshman teams

    --Events: 2 or 3 games per week, most games on route 3 corridor Quincy-Plymouth

    --Events:  2 or 3 games per week, most games on route 3 corridor Quincy-Plymouth, Sandwich. Game starts between 4 and 7pm weekdays or Saturday afternoon
     
     Women's Volleyball

    --Season:  Fall Sports Season, August through late October/early November

    --Time CommitmentBetween 2 and 2.5 hours per day, additional time needed for games and travel
     
    --Days Required:  Varsity 6 days, 5 days for Junior Varsity and Freshman teams
     
    --Events:  2 or 3 games per week, most games on route 3 corridor Quincy-Plymouth and Middleboro, Canton. Varsity games at 5:30 pm, Junior Varsity at 4pm weekdays
