    • At Chandler, we use assessment and progress monitoring data to inform instruction, make curricular decisions, and form school-wide goals.
    • There are a variety of formative and summative assessments given at each grade level at any given time throughout the year.
    • Teachers formally and informally assess in their classrooms daily in the form of quick checks, exit tickets, unit/chapter assessments, presentations, projects, group work, writing/drawing, oral discussions, participation, and more.
    • Most school-wide assessments are given three times a year (beginning, middle, end):
      • Kindergarten and Grade One Aimsweb Early Literacy/Reading
      • Grade Two Aimsweb Reading
      • Kindergarten Aimsweb Early Numeracy/Math Concepts
      • Developmental Reading Assessment
      • Grades One and Two iReady Reading and Math Diagnostics/Early Literacy Screeners
      • enVision Math Benchmarks
      • Writing Benchmarks
    • The Shaywitz Dyslexia Screener is given school-wide in the winter with follow-up as needed using additional Rapid Auto-Naming (RAN) tasks.
    • Additional ongoing data is collected from various adaptive digital practice programs such as Lexia, iReady, Reading Eggs, Mathseeds, and XtraMath.
    • Progress monitoring and small group interventions are used as part of our Tiered Intervention Process (see below), which collects data and monitors progress.
