• What is TSS? 
    The Technology Support System, better known as TSS, is a way to coordinate the technical issues faculty and staff are experiencing and prioritize them so they can be resolved.  A common question asked our tech staff is, "Is this something I should TSS?"  And the answer is always yes!  If there's any issue with technology, please create a ticket in TSS. 
     
    Who should not TSS?
    Students should not use TSS.  Students may speak with their teacher, guidance counselor, or building administration about issues they are having with technology or, during non-academic time, students may visit the technology department help desk in room B104 off the main concourse of the new Duxbury Middle-High School.  Our office hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. 
     
    Directions on using TSS:
    • When you open TSS you'll see four boxes: Viewer, Reporter, Technician, Admin
    • Click REPORTER
    • You are now at the Login Screen - Password is helpme (same for all staff)
    • Click past the first Problem Report that asks for the hardware ID # by clicking Continue
    This will bring you to the Problem Report that you need to fill-in!
    1. Fill in the Room Number box with the room number where your problem computer, projector, or printer resides
    2. Using the pull down menu (blue arrow) - select your school.
    3. Fill in Hardware Model - i.e. Mac, PC, HP Printer, etc.
    4. Fill in your name - i. e. Gail Callahan.
    5. Fill in your email address - important to fill this out so you can receive an email with updates on your ticket or notification with the issue has been resolved.
    6. Fill in the Detailed Problem Description box with as much information about your problem as possible.
    7. Using the pull down menu - select appropriate "reported by" description.
    8. Click the Submit Problem button.
    This is an extremely easy form to fill-in and we think you will know how to fill it in even if you lose these directions!

    • When you open TSS you'll see four boxes: Viewer, Reporter, Technician, Admin
    • Click VIEWER
    • You are now at the Login Screen - Password is viewer
