• Welcome to Passport Club

Passport Club is a fun, interactive geography enrichment program meant to give the students a better understanding of the global world we live. Students select a map each month to study at home or during class time. Passport Club has five levels of difficulty to choose from that are suitable for beginners to advanced map whizzes. Click here for an explanation of the levels in the Passport Club.

During a library class each month, volunteers conduct "map checks" with the students. Stickers and "passport" stamps are given to the student based on the number of places correctly identified. Levels 1-3 may miss one country on map check day and still receive a stamp. Levels 4 or 5 may miss two countries and still receive a stamp. If the student misses more than they are allotted for their level, they may try again the following week on Re-Check Day.

    STUDYING FOR MAP CHECKS

Students are expected to study for the map checks at home and during school time (depending on the teacher and if participation is required). Online tools are available to prepare for the monthly map checks. Click here to see or download monthly Study Maps.  Note: The maps are password-protected; please use the password duxdragons (all lowercase letters) to access this secure site. The interactive, online games Passport Check Practice  and Passport Club Quizlets are fun ways for students to study for the map check.

Please submit your volunteer information to your Classroom Parent to be eligible to volunteer at Alden School. Thank you for helping making Passport Club a success.
