• Ignite Program through WPI: This program offers students entering 7th or 8th grade in the fall of 2018, an opportunity to explore more complex topics within a subject while working with students in an older age group. The topics for summer 2018 include Crime Scene Science, Engineering Technology, Music Technology, Physics, Robotics, Video Game Design, and Women in Science.     Coastal Ocean Science Academy: A marine science summer day program that aims to introduce and connect young people to local marine and coastal habitats and the factors that shape them. The program is sponsored by Northeastern University and is based at their campus in Nahant, but includes off-site field trips to field locations both on and off the water.
