Chamber Singers
Mr. Robert Judge
Chamber Singers is a select advanced choral ensemble comprised of students from 9-12th grade. Students have the opportunity to audition for the ensemble in the spring prior to the upcoming academic year. The Chamber Singers present several concerts at the Performing Arts Center during the academic year year, in addition to performing at several community events. The Chamber Singers have performed throughout the United States in venues such as Carnegie Hall in New York City, Strathmore Hall in Maryland, Jordan Hall in Boston, and Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. In addition, the Chamber Singers have collaborated with the The College of Wooster Chorus, DHS Wind Ensemble, DHS String Ensemble, and the Plymouth Philharmonic Orchestra. In recent years, the Chamber Singers have premiered several works and can also be heard on composer Anthony O'Toole's website with their performance of Longing. Chamber Singers perform a variety of advanced choral literature from the Renaissance through the 21st century, and focus on developing healthy vocal technique and life-long musicianship skills.
