Degrees and Certifications:
I graduated from Merrimack College in 1998 with a minor in elementary education. Upon graduation, I decided to enter the private sector and worked at a venture capital firm for more than 10 years. I retired to become a stay-at-home mom, which I was until all of my children were off at school full-time. While my children were at Chandler and Alden I found myself volunteering quite a bit in their classrooms and several of the teachers suggested I pursue a second career as a teacher. I went for it; receiving my Masters in Elementary Education from Curry College in 2018. I have held several roles at Alden over the past 3 years including permanent in-house substitute and long-term substitute. During those years I fell more in love with the students, administration, and staff and am excited to be a full-time teacher on the Alden staff where I can watch my amazing students learn and grow every day. I live in Duxbury with my husband, 3 children (Bryn, 11, Shae, 12, and Cole 13), and our dog Maui.
