• Image of the Zones of Regulation

    We use the Zones of Regulation as a way for students to "check-in" and think about what they are feeling. This then opens up a conversation for why they are feeling this way and how we can help them develop strategies to get back into the "green"." 

    Example coping strategies:

    -take a walk 

    -movement break (jumping jacks, squats, etc.)

    -take a break and color a picture 

    -mountain or rollercoaster breathing
