Wishing you all well in these crazy times!

  • Hello Duxbury families,

I am writing this on day 3 of our social distancing and feel that I might have a harder time with my 2 kiddos than your children. It has been a challenge as my wife is still working and my boys and I are at home, but today with the sun we had some good time outside. As these weeks roll on and you are focusing on how to organize your life I will do my best to provide opportunitites for students to intereact with Spanish culture as much as possible. My favorite thing about Spanish is the culture and I feel that even though this situation is horrible and frusterating we can take the opportunity for some self directed culture learning if your students are intersted. I will be posting some enrichement opportunities for our Spanish class here. I am hoping to get a google doc going so that students can interact by providiing updates on how they are doing and I can give them some insight into what I'm doing during this time away.

Most importantly I want you all to know that I miss your students very much and want you all to take care and be safe. The information and documents that I post are NOT required and only there to help enrich student learning and cultural/language interaction. I want nothing more that the opportunity to get back into the classroom and see all the wonderful Alden smiles I get to see Mon-Fri. If you have any questions or need anything please feel free to reach out to me via email and I will do as much as possible to help you out. Profe's email

Lastly, I will do my best to update and include some social aspects of this situation. I would like to share some of the things that we are doing at home and provide you the opportunity to do that same. Stay tuned for some pics, videos and great ideas to help you explore the Spanish world from your home!

    All the best!
