The use of a translator is not permitted in the Spanish Language classroom. Translators such as Google Translate, Spanish Dict and others are not dictionaries. This software does not take into account context (to that it would have to be a human thinking of the correct words or phrases). Because the translator is doing the work and not the student, it is no different than typing your math homework into Google and asking someone or something else to solve it or taking your brother's science homework from last year and handing it in as your own. If use of a translator is discovered, the student will receive a zero on the assignment.
