Degrees and Certifications:
I will be one of your teachers this year alongside the awesome Mrs. Bateman, Mrs. O'Donnovan and Mrs. Ball. Though my title is Special Education Co-teacher, we firmly believe two (even three) teachers are better than one and because of that, we work together with all students within the classes.
I can’t wait to meet you but thought you might want to know a little about me. I graduated from Bridgewater State in 2010 with undergraduate degrees in Spanish and Elementary Education and a Masters in Special Education. I have many passions in life, one being travel. I lived in Spain for half a year and visited as many countries as I could whilst in Europe. My husband and I are very active and love to boat, fish, hike, bike, and kayak. We recently starting playing pickle ball! I enjoy cooking/baking, painting and finding new crafts! Most importantly my favorite thing to do is relax with a great book to read- something I’ve been doing a lot of this summer! We have one dog, Lucy, a golden retriever, chickens, a snake and too many fish. Hopefully that is it for a while! Outside of school, my other important job is being Mom to Vincent ( 7 years) and Genevieve (5 years). Plan on hearing a lot about them this year!
Last year was my 11th full year of teaching. Though I miss the care-free days of summer, I am very excited to start school again. I look forward to meeting you and learning all the wonderful and unique things you have to contribute to our class.
For parents- communication between home and school is such an integral part of making each year successful and positive. Therefore, if you have any questions please feel free to email me at any time with questions at: email@example.com
Enjoy the rest of your summer and I’ll see you soon!
