    Christian Dow became a music teacher at Duxbury Public Schools in 2022, where he teaches several different music courses at Duxbury Middle/High School. He was previously a band director and music teacher in towns in the south coast region. He has acted as a euphonium, tuba, and trombone instructor to students at Duxbury Public Schools, Ithaca College Summer Music Academy, and the SEMMEA Senior/Junior District. He has been a low brass adjudicator for the SEMMEA Senior/Junior District festival and has had several students accepted into the Junior festival.

    As a performer, Christian is principal euphonium in the Metropolitan Wind Symphony. Christian has done previous performances with the Charles River Wind Ensemble, Kendall Square Orchestra, Tri-County Symphonic Band, Southeastern Philharmonic Orchestra, South Shore Bay Band, Legion Bud Band, and various other groups. He has been accepted into national honor ensembles and a finalist in several regional euphonium competitions.

    As an administrator at Berklee College of Music, he has done several roles in their summer camps, including attendance manager and scheduling assistant. During the audition season, he works as an admissions interviewer.

    Christian received his bachelor of music in music education and euphonium performance from Ithaca College and his master of music in euphonium performance from the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, United Kingdom. Additionally, he has completed postgraduate studies in tuba performance at the New England Conservatory and is currently doing coursework in higher education administration at Bridgewater State University.
